Social Media Strategy & Marketing Intern - Bathnude (Austin)

Bathnude, Austin, TX, USA

Job type: Full Time

Social Media Strategy & Marketing Intern - Bathnude
Unpaid / Academic Credit Remote Austin, TX (preferred)

Bathnude is a luxury skincare brand in development. We have a strong visual identity and a creative content partner — what we need is the strategic brain to direct what gets made, when it goes out, and why it works.

REMOTE is great, but if you happen to leave in or near Austin and want to work in our space, you're welcome.

What you'll own
2+ posts per week, 2+ stories per week
Content strategy: content pillars, posting cadence, platform-specific approach
Scheduling and coordination via Later
Trend research and audience insight
Briefing the creative intern on content direction
Campaign planning tied to launch milestones
Platforms: Instagram and Linkedin to start, expanding to Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube

You are
A marketing or communications student with genuine interest in luxury, beauty, or wellness
Analytically sharp but brand-aware — you understand that metrics serve the brand, not the other way around
Organized, proactive, and confident directing creative partners
Familiar with Later or similar scheduling tools
A real consumer of luxury beauty content — you know who Nécessaire and Aesop are and why they do what they do

Bonus points if you're into
Fashion, pop culture, and cultural moment-making
Organic community building and earned growth (paid social experience is a plus too)
Brand collaborations, experiential ideas, and creative partnerships
Startup experience or a track record of growing something online from scratch

What's in it for you
Flexible hours. Flexible schedule. You'll work directly with the founder and alongside a creative/design intern — the goal is a two-person team that runs largely independently. Remote is totally fine.

As Bathnude grows through funding and launch, we're looking to bring our earliest contributors on in a permanent capacity — with pay, potential equity, and the kind of early-stage experience that's genuinely hard to replicate.
