The

Senior Director, Client Services

leads the overall strategic direction for a group of clients under our AudienceFirst Media (AFM) division. The Senior Director is responsible for the development and oversight of specific client relationships, strategy development, the presentation of proposals related to strategy and performance outcomes and with the support of their team, the execution of tactical plans & programs. In addition, the Senior Director is responsible for the management and development of assigned direct reports.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Lanham, MD office. US-based remote candidates may be considered.

Develops strategic vision and priorities to support clients and the Moore organization.

Motivates team members to achieve business objectives.

Directs the activities of the team to maintain effective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with established client standards and practices and meeting critical deadlines.

Leading team’s growth and management to include training, directing, inspiring and mentoring staff; performance evaluations and recognitions. In addition, oversee any conflicts with resolution and/or discipline, in accordance with Moore’s policies and applicable regulations.

Coordinate any training necessary for the team to ensure the team remains competent, flexible and confident (i.e. new offerings, successful strategies employed by other clients, technology upgrades, system changes, etc.).

Your Impact

Works with executive staff to sustain and improve profitability and to expand client business.

Works with Moore’s AOR account leads to develop and maintain those relationships and to ensure we are working cohesively to employ strategic initiatives to meet client goals and showcase Moore’s capabilities.

Understand the broader services offered by Moore and promote Moore, acting as a spokesperson at conferences, client meetings and presentations.

Develop and implement new and innovative approaches to provide, expand or improve current practices; specifics vary based on core skillsets (i.e. technical, analytical, programmatic, operational, administrative, etc.).

Develop and maintain strong client relationships built on trust, mutual respect and integrity. Solicit client feedback on our service. This premise also applies to AOR entities.

Oversight of and/or development of client budgets and budget to actual reporting.

Develop AFM revenue budget (specific to assigned clients)

Lead and/or direct strategy to achieve client goals and support your teams.

Lead and/or direct your teams relative to the preparation and delivery of client presentations (audits, QBR’s, etc.). This pertains to current and prospective clients.

Act as a mentor and leader to multiple levels of managers and other associates.

Monitor industry benchmarking, market factors and interpret the impact on clients’ programs and share information accordingly.

Performs other duties as required.

Your Profile

A minimum of 10 years of senior-level agency or client direct marketing fundraising experience and 5+ years in a management and leadership position.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university.

Advanced knowledge of direct response performance metrics, audience segmentation, program optimization tactics, and channel influence with excellent strategy development capabilities.

Strong ability to provide analysis and strategy and to stay informed on current industry trends, to further inform post-analyses and program recommendations.

Exceptional client relationship management skills.

Efficient and persuasive written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, external partners, and internal Moore colleagues including senior-level executives.

Demonstrated ability to be a creative and resourceful problem solver; able to balance tension between internal and external partner expectations and organizational capabilities.

Considerable knowledge of merge purge and data scoring processes.

Exceptional organizational, time management and planning expertise.

Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Effectively manages team members.

Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office software.
