Seeking an experienced News Editor, the full-time remote position will edit news stories and analysis, collaborate on story conceptualization, and manage the workflow of the news desk team focused on Jewish left reporting.
Key responsibilities

Edit news stories and analysis for the website and newsletters
Collaborate with the news desk team to shape news coverage and strategy
Manage the workflow of the news desk and publish stories online

Required qualifications

3+ years of experience in a news editing role
Experience writing and editing newsletters is a plus
Experience in a newsroom environment is a significant plus
Familiarity with topics such as left politics, Jewish communal politics, and Israel/Palestine is a significant plus
