What You'll Do

Own and evolve the visual identity of KURU across digital, physical, and experiential channels
Lead creative concepting for campaigns, product launches, and brand moments that stand out in a crowded market
Bring ideas to life-sometimes leading, sometimes rolling up your sleeves and executing
Direct photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery (yes, talent, styling, sets, the whole thing)
Set the creative standard across web, email, paid media, packaging, print, and retail
Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce, merchandising, and copy to ensure everything is strategically aligned and emotionally compelling
Build and maintain brand systems in Figma that keep the team consistent and scalable
Mentor and elevate designers through clear direction, feedback, and high expectations
Partner with leadership to translate brand strategy into a distinct, recognizable visual language
What Makes Someone Great Here

You've got 8+ years in art direction, brand design, or creative direction (DTC, fashion, footwear, or lifestyle preferred)
You bring a portfolio that shows thinking-not just execution
You know how to build brand systems that actually scale
You're comfortable leading photo/video production from idea to final asset
You have strong command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
You balance "this looks amazing" with "this drives results"
You communicate clearly and can rally people around a creative vision
You can manage multiple projects without losing your mind (or the brand voice)
Bonus Points If You Have

Experience in eCommerce or performance-driven brands
Background in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle branding
A habit of turning "what if..." into "here's the campaign"
Experience mentoring or leading creative teams
