Job Description
In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing Continental Tires’ mixing technologies and translating innovative material concepts into reliable, high-performance production processes. As a (Senior) Process Development Engineer Mixing, you combine deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset to drive process excellence across development and manufacturing. By working closely with plants and cross-functional teams, you actively contribute to shaping efficient, future-ready mixing processes that meet the highest standards of performance, quality, and productivity.

You developnew mixing process technologies, to produce future material technologies for Conti Tires; ensuring the best balance between performance; quality and productivity

Youare responsible forthe development, specification andrelease ofnewmixingprocesses in production environment,in close cooperation withourplants andotherdevelopmentdepartments

You defineprocessrequirementsthat are importantforthe upgradeand purchaseof mixingproduction equipment

You are involvedinstructured problem solving, where you support plants,Material¬PI, and other groups withyourexpertise of mixing processes

You lead andparticipateinmultipdisciplinaryprojects and task forces

Qualifications

Academic degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a comparable field (MSc / Dipl.-Ing. / Dipl.-Chem.)

Experience in rubber processing, preferably in mixing

Genuine interest in the chemistry of compound systems during mixing and in understanding the mixer as a chemical reactor

Affinity for digitalization and IT-related topics

Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage

Strong team player with excellent communication skills across different hierarchical levels

Strong analytical and academic mindsetWillingness to travel nationally and internationally
