This position is a consulting-based Business Development role supporting expansion within the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) and life sciences market across North America. The role focuses on leveraging industry expertise and professional networks to identify opportunities, establish relationships, and support early-stage business development initiatives with diagnostics and pharmaceutical companies.
This is a contract, remote consulting engagement with an initial commitment of approximately 10–20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, particularly with raw materials such as antibodies and antigens
Strong B2B sales and key account management experience with diagnostics or pharmaceutical companies
Established network within the U.S. or North American diagnostics market
Ability to understand both technical and commercial aspects of products and solutions
Experience supporting proposal development and early-stage business strategy
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business, or a related field preferred
Ability to travel occasionally within the U.S. as business needs arise
Ability to sit for extended periods and use standard office equipment; may occasionally lift up to 10–15 lbs
Responsibilities

Identify and engage diagnostics manufacturers and key stakeholders across North America
Build relationships with procurement, R&D, and technical decision-makers
Generate leads, facilitate introductions, and secure initial client meetings
Support development and alignment of proposals based on customer needs
Provide advisory support during early-stage deal development
Coordinate technical discussions between clients and internal teams
Track progress of business opportunities and maintain ongoing client engagement
Support cross-border communication and collaboration with global teams
Occasional business trips as needed
May be assigned other duties by managers
