We are working on a large‑scale image data collection project focused on apparel fit research and visual quality evaluation for machine learning.

The project involves building a global network of contributors who can create photo sets by following clear visual, technical, and formatting guidelines. Accuracy, consistency, and guideline compliance are the priority.

About the Role
We are looking for freelance photographers who can independently organize and deliver structured image sets using real people (non‑professional models). Photographers are responsible for sourcing participants, capturing images according to predefined requirements, and submitting complete, compliant sets. This is remote, freelance‑style work with the possibility of ongoing collaboration based on quality and consistency. A trial image set is required as part of the selection process.

6 distinct everyday outfits

Predefined poses and environments

What You’ll Do

Capture 7 structured images of a single participant following provided instructions

Photograph 6 different outfits, including well‑fitting and intentionally ill‑fitting garments

Ensure required poses, lighting, and framing conditions are met

Collect and submit required metadata (e.g., height, weight, basic measurements)

Collect and submit a signed model release form for each participant

Requirements

Smartphone or camera capable of producing high‑quality images (minimum 1080×720; higher resolution preferred)

Ability to follow strict visual and technical guidelines

Comfort with full‑body photography (no nudity required)

Ability to source and coordinate real participants (18+)

Compensation & Process
A trial image set is required for evaluation. Approved trial sets are paid. 35 $ per approved set.
