Graphic Design Specialist
Location : Hybrid in Franklin, TN
Our
Graphic Design Specialist
role is an internal‑facing, entry‑level position involving executing creative tasks and projects while improving the creative aesthetic and brand identities of Acadia corporate and all owned brands. Creative tasks, projects, and focus includes, but is not limited to, the creation/design of internal assets and website graphic elements, digital and traditional images, banners and videos for all online and offline marketing campaigns, and all printed collateral and materials.
Responsibilities include enhancing the visual aesthetics of Acadia’s existing brands, creating new campaigns and ideas from scratch, and working with other creative team members and non‑creative team members. Works with website developers to combine graphic assets with the visual styles and CSS elements on the websites. This position will create and evolve new designs that preserve the established creative style, work with the marketing team to develop brand identities and develop marketing campaign banner advertisements. Interface with the copywriting team to combine written content with graphic presentation and contribute to any other corporate assets and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Execute and improve brand identity development set by upper management
Execute creative tasks and timelines set by upper management
Create marketing campaign assets such as banner and video advertisements
Enhance and grow aesthetic of Acadia facilities with logos and marketing materials
Improve all visual elements of Acadia websites
Combine graphic elements with textual copy to create compelling marketing messages
Work with marketing team on all creative projects, including traditional and digital marketing communications
Implement new projects and operational initiatives that propel the department forward
Hit creative benchmarks, goals, and work within team best practices so that expectations are exceeded
Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications
Follow standardized processes and workflow of all creative functions
Communicate project status and deliverables with co‑workers, managers, and Acadia staff
Meet and exceed creative expectations for Acadia and owned brands
Performs other duties as assigned
Comply with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality
Communicate clearly and effectively to person(s) receiving services and their family members, guests and other members of the health care team
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or higher is
preferred
Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, etc.) is
REQUIRED
Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
1+ years of experience in print‑based design is
preferred
Familiarity with web standards and usability is
preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels
Base knowledge of typography, page/screen layout, composition, and color theory.
Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and changing technologies
Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data and information while maintaining confidentiality
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames
Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
Capable of working within established policies, procedures, and practices prescribed by the organization
English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions
Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML is
preferred
Basic knowledge of motion graphics software is
preferred
Web implementation experience (Wordpress) is
preferred
