Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join our Technology Practice.This is an entry level position whereyou’llwork collaboratively with team members on key account projects and help organize the team around upcoming assignments.You’llhave the opportunity to learn more about the industry and agency and exploredifferent rolesand skillsets within public relations and communications.

You will be responsible fordeveloping highly curated media lists to provide your teams withaccuratejournalist and influencer information to successfully secure coverage for clients. This role will also entail conducting industry news monitoring to flag any trends,issuesand media coverage for clients. You will be expected to actively network with media and influencers to develop relationships, pitch media and securing coverage opportunities, andmaintainteam operations with agendas, actionitemsand reports.

Responsibilities

Participate in team and client calls andprovidethorough notes and action items to help move deliverablesforwardevery week.

Assistinprovidingclear client communication under the direction of your account leads.

Develop the first draft of PR content like press materials, speaker submissions, blog and social media content, bylines, etc. for review by your team.

Monitor and develop reports for client and industry media coverage.

Conduct media outreach with guidance from AE/SAE; pitching news announcements and conductingfollow up via phone and email.

Research and track industry events, speaking opportunities and awards for clients,providingrecommendations to internal team members.

Produce monthly or weekly reports outlining key activities and initiatives.

Conduct new business research to support upcoming pitches and presentations.

Promote and upholdAllison’s core values;participatein agency-wide training and professional development programs.

Qualifications

Preferred experience as an account coordinator or equivalent experience in public relations,marketingora relatedfield. Assistant Account Executives atAllisontypically have a minimum of 1+ years ofexperience.

TechIndustry interest or background strongly preferred.

Works independently on assignments, as directed.

Self-motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work.

Foundationinresearch and content development.

Prior experience working in Microsoft Outlook, Word,PowerPointand Excel, alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

Takes direction well, asks clarifying questions and follows through on required deadlines.

Proficiencyin using media monitoring and data analytics tools likeMuckrack, Critical Mention,MeltwaterandCision.

Compensation
In order tocomply withequal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is$50K- $60K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
