Lightly edit submissions for grammar, clarity, and tone while preserving voice
Select standout pieces and schedule them for publication in our Memory Lane section
Work with our editorial and design team to match stories with vintage images or themed headers
Coordinate with the Community Engagement Manager to encourage more submissions
What We’re Looking For
Love for nostalgia and personal storytelling
Experience with editing, curating, or publishing reader submissions
Empathy and respect for preserving contributors’ unique voices
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Bonus: background in senior outreach, oral history, or journalism
