Sr Supervisor Production - 2nd Shift

Overview
This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members for quality safety and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual must work closely with the management team to achieve objectives; accept full accountability for day‑to‑day department responsibility; be a team player; and ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies, food safety sanitation, and all other duties as determined by management.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques, food safety, product yields and USDA regulations.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful.

Travel: Minimal.

Supervisory Skills: Responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.

Special Skills: Team Leader problem solving and special projects.

Other Requirements: Good attendance and safety record. Extra consideration given to team members with technical skills; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
