Position Description
The Wholesale Sales Support & Marketing Manager streamlines sales processes and systems while owning and growing customer accounts through marketing and CRM management. This role is the backbone of the sales organization, ensuring efficiency, visibility, and accuracy, while directly contributing to revenue through account management, marketing and business development.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment, is detail‑oriented and analytical, but also comfortable building relationships and assisting the sales team to close business across multiple wholesale channels including specialty retail, distributors, grocery, and key accounts.

Sales Operations & Enablement

Manage and optimize sales processes across specialty, distributor, and key account channels.

Coordinate new item setup forms, manage product launches, and ensure item data is accurate and up‑to‑date across all systems, brokers and partners.

Maintain and update pricing sheets, promotional calendars, and customer‑specific sales materials.

Assist with trade promotion planning and deduction management in collaboration with Finance.

Own CRM and sales tools: maintain accurate records, reporting, and pipeline visibility.

Develop and distribute weekly/monthly sales reporting dashboards.

Partner with marketing and operations to execute promotions, product launches, and seasonal programs.

Lead trade show planning, execution, and follow‑up to maximize ROI.

Streamline order entry and fulfillment processes with customer service and logistics teams, using platforms such as Shopify, Faire, and Fishbowl.

Maintain pricing, contracts, and terms for all accounts.

Develop and maintain sales collateral and presentations in partnership with marketing.

Wholesale Lead Nurturing & Email/SMS Management

Own and optimize the wholesale lead pipeline from initial inquiry through onboarding and re‑ordering.

Manage and maintain the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to ensure clean data, proper segmentation, and automated workflows.

Develop and execute lead scoring, tagging, and nurturing sequences to convert prospects into long‑term wholesale customers.

Build and manage email and SMS campaigns tailored to wholesale leads and accounts using Klaviyo.

Segment wholesale audiences based on behavior, lifecycle stage, order history, and engagement.

Collaborate with design and content teams to create compelling and on‑brand communications that drive conversions and retention.

Oversee and optimize the brand’s presence on Faire and other B2B marketplaces—monitor performance, respond to inquiries, manage promotions, and ensure listings are current and compelling.

Manage and optimize the user experience and content of the wholesale website (e.g., portal logins, product catalogs, pricing, FAQs).

Track customer journeys across Faire and the wholesale site to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of sales operations, wholesale marketing or account management experience, preferably in CPG (food/beverage a plus).

Strong understanding of wholesale channels: specialty retail, distributor + grocery sales, and key account dynamics.

Proven experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Klaviyo (email + SMS) for automated marketing and customer journeys.

Experience with sales platforms is a must: Shopify, Faire, distributor portals, Syndigo, IX‑One, 1World Sync, Fishbowl (or similar ERP/inventory systems), and CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Support marketing execution as it relates to sales operations, including the creation and maintenance of sales tools such as line sheets, trade show collateral, and other customer‑facing materials.

Update and manage website and sales platforms (e.g., Shopify, Faire, B2B portals) from a sales operations perspective, ensuring content is visually on‑brand, accurate, and aligned with current pricing, SKUs, and product availability.

Serve as a bridge between Sales and Marketing by ensuring all sales‑facing materials and platforms reflect current brand standards and support wholesale and retail sales needs until a dedicated marketing role is in place.

Analytical skills with a deep understanding of funnel metrics, segmentation, and campaign performance.

Proven track record of supporting a sales team while independently generating revenue through marketing initiatives.

Strong communication skills—able to present data clearly while building customer relationships.

Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive in problem‑solving.

Comfortable working in a fast‑growing company where priorities shift quickly.
