Position Summary
The Director of Corporate Development is a critical driver of Nava’s inorganic growth strategy. This role identifies, evaluates, and executes transformative acquisitions, strategic investments, and high‑impact partnerships, aligning them with the company’s long‑term strategy and business objectives. The director serves as a bridge between senior leadership, external stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams, providing strategic insights that enable executive decision‑making. The position is highly visible, strategic, and requires a leader who can translate market intelligence and financial goals into actionable business insights. The director reports to the CFO and is a member of the management team.

What You’ll Do

Strategy and Impact Analysis

Partner with the CEO, EVP of Growth, General Counsel, and other C‑Level executives to develop and refine corporate development strategy and priorities.

Conduct industry research, market intelligence, and competitive benchmarking to build a pipeline of targets, ventures, and partnerships for senior leadership review.

Work closely with the CFO and FP&A team to develop financial models (DCF, accretion/dilution, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate the economic impact of potential transactions.

Execution and Due Diligence

Drive the transaction lifecycle from outreach through closing in partnership with Legal and senior leaders.

Guide due diligence and integration across Delivery, Growth, Legal, Finance, Talent, Operations, and Market Shaping to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with senior leaders to assess strategic fit, ensuring alignment on objectives and allocation of resources.

Lead post‑acquisition value creation with integration teams, developing 30‑, 60‑, and 90‑plus‑day plans to realize projected synergies.

Team Leadership and Development

Collaborate with CFO, General Counsel, and key leaders on firm‑wide strategic initiatives.

Lead, mentor, and develop participants in the corporate development process, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Streamline reporting and planning processes to provide leaders with efficient access to transaction information.

Required Skills

7–10 years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

Strong understanding of professional services and government contracting dynamics.

Proven negotiation and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.

Expertise in business valuation, financial modeling, and unit economics.

Excellent ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for non‑financial executives.

Leadership, communication, and people‑management skills with experience building a Corporate Development function.

Strong change‑management execution and proactive course‑correction skills.

Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

Computer proficiency and ability to leverage technology in a professional services environment.

Excellent time‑management with attention to detail.

Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.

High personal integrity, ethics, and commitment to inclusion.

Capacity and resilience to build relationships at all leadership levels.

Ability to implement strategies in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while maintaining alignment across boundaries.

Desired Skills

MBA or CPA/CFA certification.

Experience in a global or multi‑entity professional services organization.

Proficiency in GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Excel, Apple computers, and remote‑work tools.

Compensation
$190,000 – $210,000 USD

Other Requirements

Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Ability to meet any additional requirements for government contracts.

Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.
