We are a remote‑first, Certified B‑Corp agency with team members across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in our HQ office in Philadelphia. We consider only candidates based in the US who can work continental US‑based hours.
The Role
You are a Business Development Manager / Account Executive who is equally confident in your practitioner chops, emotional intelligence, and ability to close the right business. You are a digital expert turned business strategy pro who believes in a value‑driven sales approach. You use data to understand who you can help win and illustrate that to prospective clients in a consultative, strategic manner. You value building strong relationships and helping clients solve problems that keep them up at night.
You have a passion for crafting digital marketing strategies and solutions within search marketing. You know what it feels like to work with a great client and have what it takes to bring them to Seer. You are polished, curious, and have strong business acumen. Throughout your career you have gained knowledge in SEO, Paid Media, CRO, Creative, AI, and Analytics.
Role Highlights
Responsible for a $2.5M revenue target and for bringing in additional revenue from follow‑ups to inbound leads; internal collaboration to identify and close growth opportunities with current clients.
Develop own pipeline through strategic outbound efforts; identify and target new business opportunities, using tools and data, and craft tailored approaches to prospective clients.
Own and manage all processes from lead qualification, needs and strategy consultation, through to client kick‑off meetings.
Create and present comprehensive SEO, PPC, and Analytics strategies to prospective clients, including C‑level executives.
Consult with prospective clients to illustrate how marketing strategy dovetails with long‑term business strategy and goals; may travel to prospect sites.
Conduct preliminary competitive SEO, PPC, and Analytics analyses for inbound leads and partner with divisional teams to identify opportunities and threats.
Prepare and deliver site‑specific proposals and negotiate contracts with guidance from our legal team.
Act as a thought leader: provide content for the Seer blog, speak at conferences, and attend networking events to generate new business.
Deliver the white‑glove approach to clients, ensuring smooth transition between Business Strategy and account teams when projects are kicked off.
Leverage sales methodologies, preferably MEDDIC, to qualify leads, unearth pain points, and drive deals to successful closure.
Represent Seer at conferences, client visits, and other external activities; 20‑25% travel required.
Essential Skills
3+ years in Digital Marketing / Digital Business Development with a proven track‑record of exceeding goals in a high‑growth environment.
Exceptional execution ability; meets deadlines and eliminates bottlenecks.
Deep understanding of client business challenges and ability to recommend tailored solutions.
Strong relationships skills; effective at speaking to C‑level executives.
Proficiency with BD tools (SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, BuiltWith, etc.) and using technology to uncover insights.
Excellent communication and diplomatic writing; can provide insights and alternative solutions to clients.
Enthusiastic about AI and its application to improve work and life.
High expectation for internal and external communication; never misses deadlines.
Experience building and managing own sales pipeline, including outbound prospecting.
Skilled in MEDDIC methodology for qualifying opportunities and driving high‑value prospects.

Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation: $93,000 – $125,000 per year.
Bonus for high performance available.
