Account Executive (Digital Ad Agency)

Collier-Simon, New York, NY, USA

Pay: 60.000 - 80.000

Job type: Full Time

Collier.Simon is an independent, full-service creative agency in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. We work with our client partners to develop creative solutions that truly move the needle. Clients range from Fortune 500-type household names to up-and-comers across a variety of industries and verticals.

We’re also in the middle of a tech-powered transformation, and curiosity is at the heart of it. We use AI to supercharge creativity, not replace it, and we’re actively exploring how new tools can help us scale, spark, and speed up the work. We’re looking for people who get excited about trying new things, asking “what if we tried it this way?”, and bringing that experimental mindset to every project they touch.

We’re looking for a sharp, organized, go-getter Account Executive with 1–3 years of marketing/advertising experience. Success in this role hinges on three things: superb project management skills, the instinct to anticipate what clients and teammates need before they ask, and the kind of get-it-done attitude that keeps work moving.

You must…

Be a strong project manager — comfortable owning timelines, juggling multiple workstreams, and keeping every detail on track

Be proactive by nature — you anticipate what clients and team members need

Have a true go-getter, get-it-done attitude — you take initiative, follow through, and don’t need to be chased

Have hands‑on experience supporting social and digital campaigns

Be adept at working quickly and multi-tasking under tight deadlines

Be comfortable interfacing with clients in a clear, polished, and responsive way

Have outstanding communication skills (written and presentation)

Be comfortable working remotely on West Coast hours

Be curious about new tools and tech — open to experimenting with AI and other emerging tools as part of how we work

What You’ll Do

Drive the day-to-day project management of all client work — own timelines, dependencies, and the rhythm that keeps projects moving

Anticipate client needs and surface them early — flag risks, ask the right questions, and bring solutions, not just status updates

Anticipate team needs — identify what your creatives, leads, and partners need to do their best work, and clear the path for them

Communicate effectively and professionally with key client contacts

Develop and monitor project timelines, holding the team and yourself accountable to them

Provide administrative and client service support on assigned accounts

Work with art directors, copywriters, external agencies, and other client service team members to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and exceeds expectations

Help review, evaluate, and critique creative ideas/output to ensure that work meets brand and project strategies/objectives, client requests, and agency quality standards

Develop project statements of work and internal creative briefs in collaboration with the Account Lead

Help develop, edit, and fine-tune client presentations, creative decks, new business proposals, and case studies

Manage client assets and key project information in support of creative work

Document discussions during client meetings and key internal meetings — and follow up on next steps without being prompted

Actively participate in strategic planning sessions, brainstorms, and creative meetings with a point of view

Keep apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments and general trends in advertising — including how AI and emerging tech are reshaping the industry

What You’ll Need

1–3 years of marketing or advertising experience in an agency environment

Demonstrated project management chops — proven ability to keep complex, multi-stakeholder projects on track

A proactive mindset — always thinking a step ahead and anticipating what’s coming for clients and the team

A get-it-done attitude — dependable execution, ownership of outcomes, and the drive to push work across the finish line

Strong communication skills — both written and verbal

Ability to manage time, load-balance, and stay calm under pressure

Strong attention to detail and timeliness — ability to adhere to (and enforce) strict timelines

Dependability in execution of work and as a member of the team

Strong interpersonal skills; able to effectively interface with internal and external teams

Enthusiastic, solution-oriented attitude in accepting work and new challenges

A curious, experimental mindset — you’re excited to learn, try new tools (AI included), and bring fresh thinking to the team

What We Offer

An open, collaborative, creative environment where ideas rule and everyone has the opportunity to create — and to help shape how we evolve our craft alongside new technology

Benefits including healthcare, 401K, and vacation/PTO to be shared in greater detail during the interview process
