Radio Frequency Engineer

Overview

An Aerospace and Defense Company is looking for a Remote Radio Frequency Engineer. This role supports the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced radio frequency systems for defense and aerospace platforms. Responsibilities include translating complex waveforms and signal processing algorithms into hardware implementations, conducting trade studies, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Base pay range

$75.00/hr - $80.00/hr
Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and optimization of RF systems for defense and aerospace platforms.
Translate complex waveforms and signal processing algorithms into hardware implementations.
Conduct trade studies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Electrical Engineering or Physics is preferred
5+ years of RF design and signal processing
3+ years of experience with real-time RF processing with SDRs (such as Xilinx and Analog Devices)
Experience developing embedded and non-embedded RF Signal Processing
Familiar with RF system simulation, waveform development and signal processing
