Position Overview
This field‑sales position fully supports the strategies and execution of the US Professional Distribution network—including Cosmoprof, Salon Centric, independent distributors, and chains set forth by the company. The primary goal is to achieve company revenue, sell‑through, and distributor goals/KPI objectives, including the expansion of new doors and growth of the in‑salon brand share within the assigned territory.

What You’ll Do
Field Strategy

Build productive call cycles including regular visits with key territory stores, salons, suites, academies, schools and chains, and pursue new business opportunities.

Own the execution and results of the “Amika Means Friend Tour” for the cities within your region—pre‑planning, communication, organization, and working closely with distributor partners and the Director of Business.

Establish a 90‑day schedule focused on key markets, using a top‑down approach to maximize ROI.

Master territory business metrics—goals, results, year‑over‑year performance, and overall amika results.

Execute sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing plans by territory and client, focusing on sales results and ROI.

Coach, train, and motivate professional store and field sales representatives; ensure each store/consultant/salon receives frequent training and product reinforcement.

Manage all territory field activity and communications with amika Educators.

Represent the company at regional and national conferences, events, and sales/planning meetings as needed.

Ensure salons/stores are properly stocked and merchandised for maximum visual exposure.

Maintain the top salon customer base and develop strategies to increase market share; build a working top‑tier salon target list for conversion.

Recommend actions and support plans for store/salon accounts needing improved performance.

Business Strategy

Develop strong relationships with territory stores and sales teams to meet targets.

Communicate timely and consistently with salons, sales consultants, distributor management, and company teams.

Create an atmosphere focused on achieving sales goals; drive productivity across stores, salons, suites, and accounts.

Prioritize urgent and large business opportunities using sound time management and effective delegation.

Analyze monthly sales reports to identify volume achievement and opportunities; develop improvement strategies.

Schedule and execute additional events in key opportunity areas to boost sales.

Manage territory expenses and achieve a satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share per company standards.

Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.

Provide efficient feedback to company personnel on strategy, training, tools, and product effectiveness.

Education

Collaborate with company personnel to execute an education strategy supporting sell‑through.

Recruit, develop, and partner with 1099 educators in the region.

Identify educational needs and opportunities for stores, salons, suites, academies.

Collaborate with the Pro Education team to support a team of top Educators.

Deliver detailed product knowledge, sales tips, features, and benefits to stores and salons.

Qualifications
Must Haves

Outside/Inside Sales Experience

Documented record of accomplishment

Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Cloud, CRM, PowerPoint, Asana, SharePoint

Salon/Beauty experience required

Higher education degree preferred

Must have a car and current license

Nice to Haves

Experienced with distributor relationships

Knowledge of the West Coast spa and salon market

Previous experience in the beauty, haircare, or cosmetics field

Location
Remote (must be based on the West Coast and have the right to work in the US)
