Freelance Senior Copywriter

Avalere Health is seeking a US-Based Freelance Senior Copywriter with experience in devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare. This is a project-based, three-month contract position.

We are looking for a talented Freelance Senior Copywriter to join our team. If you are a seasoned writer passionate about healthcare communication and skilled at translating complex information into clear, compelling copy, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For:

Medical device experience is preferred, but we are also interested in strong writers from pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader healthcare backgrounds.

Ability to tell powerful health stories and understand the nuances of regulated industries.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

Are a senior-level copywriter with a strong, diverse portfolio.

Have experience writing for medical devices, pharma, biotech, or health and wellness.

Understand the landscape of regulated healthcare marketing, including FDA guidelines and fair balance.

Can write across various formats, including print, digital, video scripts, sales aids, and patient education content.

Are comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines without extensive guidance.

Can collaborate effectively with art directors, account teams, and medical/regulatory reviewers.
