About The Role
The Business Development Manager will lead growth efforts across the Central and East Coast markets. This role focuses on building a sales function, developing new business, and expanding a strong partner and referral network.

You should be comfortable with a 3 to 6 week sales cycle, managing multiple opportunities at once, and working closely with internal teams to support new client onboarding. This role is a strong fit for someone with early-stage experience who enjoys building structure, working independently, and forming real relationships across a region.

Minimal travel is expected.

Key Objectives

Develop, execute, and manage a regional sales strategy focused on growth and client satisfaction

Build and improve sales processes to support a high-performing function

Maintain and grow long-term relationships with clients, referral partners, and community stakeholders

Use financial and analytical thinking to improve sales performance and revenue

Track progress toward sales targets and support the goal of doubling revenue within 12 months

Partner with Account Management to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients

Responsibilities

Research markets and industries to identify new opportunities

Promote services through outreach, presentations, and relationship building

Participate in team meetings and provide updates to leadership

Share feedback to improve sales tools, tactics, and overall performance

Review sales contracts for alignment with legal and company standards

Respond to client inquiries with a consultative and professional approach

Support the transition of new clients alongside the Account Management team

Preferred Qualifications

5 to 7+ years of experience in early-stage or high-growth environments

Proven ability to build a function, team, or process from the ground up

Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Highly organized with the ability to adapt quickly

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Established professional network outside of Colorado

Compensation

Base Salary: Approximately $45,000

First-Year On-Target Earnings: $90,000+ including base, bonus, and commission
