About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled

Rheumatology/Dermatology Editor.

This role combines

medical news editing

with

feature reporting and writing , ensuring content is accurate, clear, and highly relevant for physician audiences. You’ll collaborate with a fast-moving editorial team and report to the Executive Editor.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign and edit rheumatology/dermatology news articles for a physician audience.
Pitch and write feature stories with fresh, creative angles.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging newsletters and promotional content.
Work with operations teams to ensure timely publication of content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, biology, or a related field.
5+ years of health content editing and writing experience.
Extensive knowledge of rheumatology and dermatology.
Experience assigning stories to freelancers and editing for accuracy, balance, and relevance.
Ability to write deep-dive or investigative stories.
Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and reliable.
Strong communication skills to translate medical jargon for a broader audience.
Flexibility and creativity to thrive in a competitive multimedia news environment.
