WSB-TV is looking for a Digital Account Executive to join their evolving sales team. Your primary goal will be to identify and qualify high-potential client opportunities to partner with Cox Media Group and our full-service digital agency. The Digital Account Executive will partner with businesses to help them grow and thrive through comprehensive digital marketing campaigns utilizing our advanced digital marketing services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proactively identify and connect with qualified prospects to maintain a full sales pipeline.

Responsible for generating revenue through the development of new accounts.

Responsible for generating revenue by growing existing advertising revenue from current accounts.

Prepare, analyze, and develop marketing initiatives that achieve digital revenue goals.

Research, prospecting, marketing, cold calling, presenting, and closing. You own the sales cycle, prospect to close, and have the support of a world-class Customer Experience team to ensure continued support after the sale.

Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies, and deliver effective sales presentations with passion, and consistently ask for the business.

Closely follow market trends.

Achieve and exceed sales quotas.

Communicate with your customer base proactively via phone, video conference, email and in-person.

Conduct face-to-face customer meetings to present detailed digital marketing solutions.

Utilize CRM for effectively and efficiently recording all sales activity.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous outside sales experience and a strong competitive drive.

Results oriented individual who strategically pursues business with energy and drive.

The ability to execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion, and consistently asks for the business.

Subject matter expertise is required in the digital advertising ecosystem, customer attribution, and in the latest industry trends.

Tech-savvy with solid computer skills is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS degree with a minimum of three years of media sales, account management or buying experience preferred.
