Fall Writing Intern

cAUse Marketing is a unit within Auburn Advancement focused on recruiting, retaining, and re-engaging Auburn University donors through compelling, audience-centered communications that support philanthropic giving and deepen donor connection.
The Fall Writing Intern will support the development of persuasive copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns that inspire philanthropic support for Auburn University. This internship offers hands-on experience writing for direct mail, email, texting, social media, and web, with a particular emphasis on focused fundraising initiatives and donor-centered messaging.
Responsibilities

Write and revise persuasive copy for fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, texting, social media, and web.
Support messaging for focused fundraising initiatives by helping translate project needs and impact into compelling donor-facing content.
Adapt tone, format, and message based on audience, platform, and campaign goals.
Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and brand alignment.
Conduct light research and gather background information as needed to strengthen messaging.
Collaborate with team members across Advancement Marketing to support fundraising campaign development and execution.
