The Americas steel team is uniquely positioned to help the global steel industry price and source the next-generation of highly recycled, low-carbon ferrous materials.
The role involves fostering knowledge of the fundamentals, supply chain, end-uses, and key participants for the North American steel market, with a particular focus on Mexico and the tubular markets surrounding the Gulf of Mexico. It includes collecting pricing data, setting price assessments, writing market commentaries, supporting colleagues, managing industry contacts, and fostering Fastmarkets' prices and expertise through market engagement plans.
Principal accountabilities include learning commodity market fundamentals, collecting pricing data, writing market commentaries, supporting colleagues, managing industry contacts, and fostering Fastmarkets' prices and expertise.
