Overview
Seeking a Senior Content Editor for a 12-month temporary engagement to support large-scale content transformation into a modern Content Management System.
This role focuses on preparing, migrating, and optimizing high-volume HR and employee-facing content to enable AI-driven experiences, improved accessibility, and scalable content operations. You will work across content strategy, structure, and governance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across systems.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.50/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Senior Content Editor Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager / AEM or Contentful
- 2+ years of project management experience managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
- Strong expertise in content optimization for AI ingestion and metadata structuring
- Proven ability in content editing, writing, and quality control with high attention to detail
- Experience with content operations, including governance, workflows, and publishing processes
- Familiarity with information architecture, content models, and headless or reusable content frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting multi-language, global content publishing environments is a plus
Senior Content Editor Duties
- Lead content migration and transformation of ~65K assets into a new CMS platform, ensuring data integrity and structural consistency
- Prepare and validate content for migration, including recertification, alignment to policy, and metadata tagging
- Convert long-form content into modular, reusable content fragments optimized for AI tools and omnichannel delivery
- Manage content updates and publishing requests in alignment with defined SLAs and timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders, content owners, and technology partners to execute migration strategies and resolve issues
- Participate in content testing, validation, and migration sign-off, ensuring accuracy and completeness post-migration
- Support development and refinement of content standards, style guidelines, and taxonomy frameworks
- Identify opportunities to enhance content workflows, storage systems, and operational efficiency
- Drive content reuse strategies to reduce duplication and improve scalability
- Coordinate project timelines, dependencies, and risk management across cross-functional initiatives
