Audio Visual Specialist
Location: Wayzata, MN 55391 Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot video conferencing systems such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and similar platforms. Coordinate and support virtual meetings, webinars, and hybrid events across multiple time zones. Ensure high-quality audio, video, and content sharing during conferences and live sessions. Provide first-level technical support during live events and resolve AV-related issues in real time. Maintain and update AV hardware and software including conference room equipment, cameras, microphones, codecs, and control systems. Support and maintain video infrastructure platforms such as Poly Clariti Manager / Clariti Core. Train end users on conferencing tools, AV equipment, and best practices. Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to optimize conferencing and collaboration infrastructure. Document configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and recurring issues. Research and recommend upgrades or new tools to enhance the conferencing experience.
Required Skills & Experience
3 years of experience in Video Conferencing, AV Support, IT Support, or AV/IT Integration. Strong hands-on experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or similar conferencing platforms. Experience with Audio Visual equipment such as Video Codecs, HP/Poly/Logi conference room support systems. Experience supporting Crestron systems. Hands-on experience with Audio Mixers and TriCaster Video Switchers. Experience supporting Digital Signage systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Preferred Skills
AV/IT certifications such as CTS, Zoom Certified, or Microsoft Teams Admin. Experience with streaming/live event platforms. Basic networking knowledge including Firewalls, VPNs, and bandwidth management.
