The Sales & Marketing Intern will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to gain hands‑on experience in the fast‑paced world of radio and digital media. This internship offers exposure to a variety of areas within the station, including sales strategy, promotions, event marketing, digital advertising, branding, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, energetic, and eager to learn about media sales and marketing in a major market radio environment.

Pay Range:

$16.60–$19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with promotional campaigns, sponsorship activations, and client initiatives.

Support the execution of station events, contests, and community outreach efforts.

Help develop sales presentations, marketing materials, and promotional recaps.

Assist with social media content creation, website updates, and digital marketing initiatives.

Conduct market and audience research using available tools and platforms.

Collaborate with programming, digital, promotions, and production departments on integrated campaigns.

Support account executives and marketing staff with day‑to‑day administrative and organizational tasks.

Help maintain promotional calendars, client materials, and event logistics.

Learn how brands use radio, digital, and social platforms to connect with audiences and drive results.

Requirements & Skills

Strong interest in sales, marketing, media, advertising, or communications.

Curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal, written, grammar, and communication skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital trends preferred.
