Responsibilities
As the Seasonal SR Programs Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Swim School programs, ensuring smooth deck coordination and exceptional swim instruction. You’ll oversee daily operations, demonstrate teaching modalities, and guide our talented coaches using SwimRVA metrics and development tools. Your role is vital in maintaining lesson quality and shaping enthusiastic swimmers of all ages.

With a focus on staff training and development, you’ll uplift our Swim School coaches, fostering their growth while enhancing our programming impact.

Qualifications
To thrive as a Seasonal SR Programs Coordinator at SwimRVA, you’ll need a unique blend of skills and a passion for aquatics. You should relate well with individuals of all ages, possess a genuine love for teaching and water, and desire to grow professionally in the field of aquatics. A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Certifications in CPR, AED, and American Red Cross First Aid are required to ensure safety in all aspects of programming. Swimming experience is preferred. Exceptional customer-service skills and the ability to thrive in high-stress situations while using critical thinking are essential.

Ability to work and relate well with children and adults (ages 6 months and up)

A love for teaching, water, and aquatics programming

A desire to grow professionally through aquatics

College degree or equivalent experience preferred

CPR and AED for adult and child

American Red Cross First Aid

Swimming experience preferred

Ability to work in high‑stress conditions, using critical thinking, and customer‑service savvy

Must be able to show great customer service to all customers and employee teammates of SwimRVA
