Job Summary
The Multimedia Producer develops, produces, and executes compelling multimedia content (images, videos, podcasts) that supports the College. The role oversees all production stages, works independently or with a team, supervises student employees, and reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create original storytelling multimedia content, including photography, videography, and podcasts for various formats.

Shoot and edit projects, completing post-production in a collaborative environment focused on integrated marketing, media and public relations, fundraising, recruitment, special events, and student experience.

Develop and maintain accessible promotional multimedia content, coordinating with faculty and lecturers.

Provide guidance and collaborate with faculty and staff, adhering to University branding standards.

Supervise student employees who assist with creative content for social media and web platforms.

Work within the Marketing and Communications team to find innovative multimedia solutions.

Use industry software (Final Cut Pro Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) to deliver professionally executed, brand-integrated projects.

Maintain high quality standards on all productions.

Design and produce digital and print marketing materials as needed, such as social media graphics, short video clips, posters/flyers, website images, and other materials.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in journalism, photography, television production, multimedia production, or related field.

Three (3) years of experience in a professional media production environment or equivalency.

Proficient experience with Final Cut Pro Studio and Adobe Creative Suite or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree and student supervision experience.

Five (5) years of professional media production experience or equivalency.

Previous work experience at a video production facility, advertising agency, corporate/institutional in‑house organization, or higher education creative team.

Independent decision‑making and leadership in pre‑production, production, editing and equipment upkeep.

Other Requirements
This position may require off‑hours or off‑location work to support special projects or critical communications. The position may have access to critical infrastructure; the University may conduct background checks for security purposes.
