Mercedes-Benz of Oakland is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team in Oakland, CA. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving revenue targets in a luxury automotive environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with dealership and brand objectives.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Oversee the sales process, from initial customer contact through to closing and follow‑up.

Train and mentor sales staff to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.

Collaborate with marketing and finance departments to optimize sales opportunities and customer experiences.

Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and adjust sales approaches accordingly.

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive sales manager or in a similar leadership role.

Strong understanding of automotive sales processes and luxury vehicle market.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
