For the past year and a half, Indianapolis-based Magpie Artspace has had the privilege of curating and managing artwork in a beautiful corporate space in the Bottleworks District. This installation lives inside a popular title company office, where the work remains on view for 4 months at a time. The art is seen by a uniquely positioned-to-purchase audience: people in the process of closing on new homes, along with the real estate professionals who support them.
The art spaces are fresh, roomy and beautifully lit. Works regularly sell. Oversized canvases have a place here. This is a rare opportunity to place your work in front of people who are actively thinking about how they want their new spaces to feel, and what they want to live with on their walls.
What to expect: 4 month installation period. Clear labeling with artist name, title, and price. A clean, professional environment in one of Indianapolis’ most active districts.
What this opportunity offers: Exposure to buyers at a moment when they are making decisions about their homes. A steady stream of viewers rather than a single-night event. Placement in a highly visible, well-designed space.
Things to consider: This is not a traditional gallery environment and does not include openings or First Friday events though our corporate partner does have occasional events, especially around the holidays. Work will remain installed for the duration of the exhibition. While pieces do sell and interest is growing, sales are not guaranteed
We’re especially interested in work that feels thoughtful and distinct – pieces with a point of view, not just something to fill a wall. At the same time, this is a professional, public-facing environment, so subject matter should be considered within that context.
Media: Any 2D Media will be considered. Art should be framed or have finished gallery edges. Must have a wire installed for hanging.
