Job Description
Asahi Kasei Bioprocess is growing and seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator in the New England area. You will be responsible for technical customer support and utilization of marketing and sales tools in support of company objectives. The role is responsible for vetting and progressing all qualified purification leads from all sources and effectively passing those leads to the account management team or SME for follow up and meetings.

This role is based in the New England area near the Massachusetts Training Center located in the Zoll building in Chelmsford, MA.

Responsibilities
Inside Sales
Acknowledge customer calls and emails, with timely answers supported by product-training centric usage experience and troubleshooting expertise
Gain experience with AKB products and services to provide thoughtful knowledgeable responses to customers to invoke response to continue conversation with Subject matter experts (SME)
Create a rolling master list of dates and deliverables for customer inquiry
Liaison between customer and various AKBA SME groups (R&D, Logistics, FA, and Sales experts) to identify the best approach to meeting customer needs
Smoothly transfer leads to contacts and progress opportunities effectively to SME
Continuously improve approach based on feedback from SME and customers responses
Proactively contact customers generated from Massachusetts Training Center (MTC) attendees list, user registers, inquiries, tradeshows, lead scoring list, and other sources of list that require active contact
Craft unique messaging for all MTC and inbound customers facing emails that will invoke response and meet KPI for inside sales and MTC goals
Maintain accountability of above metrics and include in monthly report
Maintaining and entering campaigns into Salesforce to track attendance of events and qualified leads
Coordinator
Work with MTC team for event coordination and logistics that consists of day-of support for MTC webinar, training courses and in person courses
In-person events will be meeting and greeting customers and guests to the MTC and service their needs
Assisting AV production company communication and management support
Work with Inside sales manager on event promotions support (social media, local promotion) in conjunction with AKBA marketing
Additional Duties/Responsibilities
Participate on a limited basis in field responsibilities (customer site evaluations, local tradeshows), 1-2 days, 1 time a month when necessary
Cooperate in creation and promotion material for advertisement
Conduct laboratory and office tours
Contribute to miscellaneous administrative responsibilities as assigned
Assist in AM overflow as directed
Attend internal sales meeting 1-2 times per year at offsite location for 3-4 days
Requirements
Education: Preferred Associate BS or BA, Life science related discipline
Previous experience in science related sales, inside sales, or customer service role preferred
Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office, Salesforce experience preferred
Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
Laboratory environment, full knowledge of all safety procedures and willingness to work in virus lab-centric environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Potential for domestic and international travel, as required (
Compensation
The base compensation range for this role is $29-34 an hour. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business/economic conditions.
