Sales Operations Specialist / Sales Operations Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Specialist to support our SDR and Sales teams by improving operational efficiency, maintaining accurate sales data, and identifying valuable prospecting opportunities. This role will play a key part in streamlining sales processes, supporting lead management, conducting market research, and providing administrative and operational support to help drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, CRM platforms, and AI-powered tools.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify prospecting opportunities, industry trends, funding/grant opportunities, and relevant market intelligence to support sales and outbound efforts
Monitor industry news and competitive insights and share relevant information with SDRs and Sales teams
Assist with lead management, including inbound lead organization, qualification support, routing, and assignment to appropriate SDRs or sales representatives
Perform data entry, data validation, and CRM/database clean-up to ensure accurate and organized sales records
Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets related to sales activities and pipeline performance
Monitor inbound inquiries and ensure timely responses or escalation to the appropriate team members
Support sales operations processes and administrative activities to improve team efficiency and productivity
Assist with process documentation and operational workflow improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, SDR, Marketing, and other internal teams as needed
Utilize AI tools and automation platforms to improve research, reporting, and operational workflows
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, business operations, administrative support, or a related role preferred
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data management functions
Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms preferred
Familiarity with AI tools and productivity platforms to support operational workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting SDR or Sales teams
Experience with lead management and sales reporting
Familiarity with sales prospecting and market research processes
Experience working in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus
