NEWS ANCHOR (W/END MORNING) - WEEK-TV

Job Summary

Our award‑winning duopoly WEEK- NBC & ABC is looking for a passionate journalist who can also anchor the weekend newscast and report two days during the week.
Responsibilities

Anchor weekend newscasts and other newscasts as assigned.
Work closely with producers to ensure story selection and broadcast quality is clean, compelling, and consistent.
Connect with viewers and the community on and off the desk.
Shoot and edit content for newscasts and digital platforms as assigned.
Generate story ideas and build local contacts.
Qualifications

Degree in journalism or communications, with computer literacy including newsroom computer systems.
Minimum two (2) years of experience reporting as a MMJ in a broadcast newsroom.
Videography and non-linear editing experience.
Schedule

Mon. - Fri. (or at Manager’s Discretion).
Pay

$19.97 - $25.55/hr (based on experience).
