Job Summary

The Paid Social Media Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing paid social media campaigns across diverse platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest, and others. This critical role requires expertise in social media advertising, strong data analysis skills for identifying optimization opportunities and providing actionable recommendations to boost awareness, enhance social engagement, and support brand initiatives, as well as effective team management abilities. The Paid Social Media Supervisor engages in close collaboration with diverse teams, including marketing, creative and analytics to achieve campaign objectives and deliver effective results.

Strategy Development

  • Lead the development, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns, aligning with organizational goals. Guide media and creative strategy, planning, and implementation based on insights and industry benchmarks.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on marketing goals/KPIs, campaign messaging, and creative assets. Brief stakeholders on industry trends and opportunities.

Media Planning and Buying

  • Supervise campaign setup and activation, ensuring smart budget allocation and spending. Manage relationships with social platform partners and oversee media negotiations for cost-effective placements.

Campaign Management and Optimization

  • Oversee operational and project management tasks to ensure campaigns follow best practices and are executed on time. Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.

Budget and Resource Management

  • Ensure optimal resource utilization across campaigns, managing budget allocation, pacing, and spending.

Vendor and Partner Management

  • Manage relationships and negotiations with social platform partners to secure efficient media placements.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Analyze campaign performance metrics, extract actionable insights, and communicate results to stakeholders. Develop social postmortem reports to highlight successes and opportunities.

Industry Trends

  • Stay updated with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices in social media advertising to maintain a competitive edge.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manage, coach, and mentor social team members. Develop and manage project plans, including team member allocation, timeline, budget, and deliverables.

Technology and Innovation

  • Leverage data-driven approaches to inform and build future paid social strategies, utilizing insights to continuously seek opportunities for enhancing campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:


Campaign Management

  • Experience developing paid social campaigns from start to finish, managing new campaign launches with critical oversight to ensure all elements are running as approved, and managing performance-focused campaigns with diverse budget levels.

Strategic Planning and Analysis

  • Extensive knowledge of establishing KPIs, managing budgets, and utilizing various optimization strategies. Strong analytical and consulting skills, capable of drawing and communicating insights from multiple data points.

Digital Advertising Proficiency

  • Proficiency in digital advertising reporting, measurement, and attribution tools. Comprehensive understanding of media planning terminology and acronyms.

Communication and Presentation Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability of clearly presenting key findings and managing high volume of campaigns and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Use of Technology

  • Proven technical knowledge with the ability to learn new tools quickly. Detail and process oriented, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot technological problems and use technology to increase productivity.

Efficiency and Organization

  • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines. Prioritizes and manages work activities, demonstrating planning and organizational skills in an organized manner.


Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in paid social media planning, buying, and reporting campaigns in agency or brand environment.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Multicultural
  • Experience in these industries: Auto, Entertainment, Health, CPG, Government
  • Advanced proficiency of paid social platforms, measurement and supporting technology: Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest
  • Social platform certifications (Meta, X, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in using Excel, analyzing datasets, and developing insights to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in software tools to enhance communication, collaboration, efficiency, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations and reports: PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus
