Audio - Visual Technician
The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking an Audio - Visual Technician to facilitate the use of audio-visual tools and resources by coordinating usage and training of tools through collaborative efforts with staff and students across the district. This is a full year position. Rate based on experience.

Supports the use of the theater and recital hall's technical equipment, such as sound systems, lighting, rigging and counterweight systems (where applicable)

Trains, when necessary, in the use of the theater's tools and equipment

Ensures that safety protocols are in place and posted

Recommends tools, supplies and equipment necessary to keep equipment and supplies current

Produces school and district events, including set-up, operation, and control of equipment

Covering live shows & meetings when requested

Supports the audio-visual needs of school board meetings including sound, projection, and recording of both audio and video

Edits, dubs, and/or compresses video for distribution on physical media or the web; edits media products for classroom use, cable TV and the web

Provides excellent customer service to all levels of users

Maintains up to date documentation on systems and changes

Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests

Repairs and replaces equipment as necessary

Is willing to adjust work hours when needed
