At RealCraft, our Craftsmen/Craftswomen build the high-quality custom wood doors that are sought after by architects and contractors across the US. They machine door components, assemble and finish products, and are precise in material selection, sanding, hardware preparation, and crating. This position requires strong woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an authentic woodshop environment where craftsmanship and quality are paramount.
RealCraft designs and builds premium doors and hardware for creative homeowners, architects, and designers nationwide. We're the only direct-to-consumer manufacturer using 100% real materials—true timber doors and solid metal hardware handcrafted onsite using traditional joinery. Quality craftsmanship and accountability are at the heart of everything we do.
We offer:
Hourly pay of $23 to $25 per hour.

Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with our production crew to craft high-quality custom wood doors.
Cutting, assembling, and finishing door components with care and precision.
Using advanced joinery techniques to build strong, durable doors.
Choosing the best materials for each project, balancing quality and efficiency.
Sanding, prepping hardware, and applying finishing touches to ensure a polished final product.
Double-checking everything to meet our high-quality standards before crating and shipping.
Quality control:
Noticing opportunities to improve craftsmanship and streamline production.
Being precise and consistent in every project.
Working together with the team to fine-tune processes and enhance efficiency.
Safety & organization:
Following shop safety guidelines, using tools and protective gear properly.
Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Helping maintain woodworking equipment to keep it performing smoothly.
Collaboration & workflow management:
Communicating with supervisors and teammates to stay on track with production goals.
Following project plans carefully to complete work accurately and on time.
Experience and qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of woodworking experience in a production, carpentry, or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodshop equipment.
Ability to take direction from supervisors and collaborate with team members.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Working conditions:
This full-time position is at our campus in beautiful Gig Harbor, Washington. Hours are Monday through Friday.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand or walk for extended periods. Requires physical stamina, including lifting heavy materials, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
