Job Title: Account SpecialistPay Rate: $35-$38 /hr DoELocation: Remote in CT area with occasional site visits to East Hartford, CT Start Date: Right AwayJob type: Long-term Contract Keywords: #BuyerJobs #accountspecialist #procurementjobsResponsibilitiesProcurement and supplier management for assigned hardware and components supporting multiple engine programsManage supplier on-time delivery, capacity ramp plans, and leading performance indicators to support production schedulesAct as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, leading issue resolution, escalation, and recovery plansCoordinate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, and Production Readiness teamsMaintain uninterrupted supply flow while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and contractual commitmentsLead business continuity planning and supplier improvement initiativesExecute standard procurement activities including demand planning, order placement, scheduling, and delivery assuranceEnsure compliance with Global Supply Chain standard work, international trade compliance, and RTX Code of EthicsEducation and experienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related fieldExperience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operationsExperience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industrial environments (a plus)Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferredSkills and knowledgeAbility to manage multiple supplier accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including email, phone, and presentation interactionU.S. citizenship required to access controlled systems and programsKnowledge of supplier performance management, capacity planning, and production readinessFamiliarity with international trade compliance and supply chain risk mitigation is preferredStrong project management and cross-functional coordination skills is a plusIf you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
