Reporting to the Director, Sales, you will develop and grow sales across assigned customers within the United States, focusing on Ampacet's Core Business including but not limited to Film and Sheet producers. You will also develop and expand a diverse customer base, with a strong emphasis on increasing sales of Core Product lines within Ampacet's masterbatch portfolio through proactive customer engagement, prospecting, and new product development.
Your most critical deliverables for this role are:
Drive revenue and margin growth in Color, Additive and White masterbatch sales
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including product development teams, senior purchasing managers and technical resources at existing and prospective accounts
Develop and execute detailed account plans and sales strategies tailored to customer needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical Service, Customer Service, Product Management, and Project Coordination to support business growth
Effectively communicate and leverage Ampacet's full value proposition to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities
Identify gaps in the existing product portfolio and work closely with the business development team to implement innovative solutions
Your colleagues describe you as someone who takes accountability for their actions, is respectful of others, and remains resilient in the face of change. In addition, you also have:
Degree in Business, Marketing or Packaging, or a related field
5+ years' experience in the plastics, raw materials, and/or masterbatch industry
Knowledge of key customer processes including blown film, film lamination, cast film, and sheet manufacturing
Proven ability to manage both short-term and long-term sales cycles
Experience in direct customer interactions; whether in a commercial or technical capacity
Strong presentation and communication skills (both in-person and virtual)
Willingness to travel up to 35% within North America
