Key responsibilities

Program Yahoo Finance experiences with a focus on breaking news and personal finance content
Utilize generative AI tools to create and optimize headlines and mobile alerts for audience engagement
Collaborate with various teams to align programming decisions with editorial priorities and audience needs

Required qualifications

3+ years of editing experience in a media organization, particularly in digital media or newsroom programming
Strong editorial judgment and experience making real-time decisions in a fast-paced news environment
Familiarity with analytics tools like Chartbeat for monitoring content performance
Experience in headline writing, content curation, and SEO practices
Genuine interest in finance news and its impact on users and investors
