JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager leads the day-to-day execution of the credit union's marketing strategy, ensuring consistent, compliant, and impactful delivery of all campaigns, communications, and brand initiatives. This role drives member growth, engagement, and retention through data-informed marketing programs, digital channels, and community outreach.

The Marketing Manager partners across departments to deliver a seamless, member-centric experience while maintaining regulatory compliance and brand integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Execute and optimize integrated marketing plans that support organizational growth, product adoption, and member engagement

• Design and deliver multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, social, print, and in-branch)

• Monitor campaign performance and continuously improve based on results and insights

• Support annual marketing planning and ongoing strategic adjustments

• Oversee development and create all member-facing and non-member communications, including: Email marketing, Website content, social media, Newsletters and direct mail, Product promotions and financial education content

• Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand voice

• Analyze member behavior, demographics, and market trends to identify opportunities

• Translate insights into targeted campaigns and personalized member experiences

• Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and financial services marketing best practices

• Ensure all marketing complies with applicable federal and state regulations (NCUA, Reg Z, etc.)

• Partner with compliance teams to review and approve materials

• Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing department policies and procedures to strengthen operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Manage relationships with marketing agencies, printers, and digital vendors

• Oversee production timelines and quality of deliverables

• Develops and manages the annual strategic marketing plan monitor marketing budget; track ROI and justify expenditures

• Communicate effectively with staff, members, and stakeholders regarding promotions, product updates, and marketing initiatives to ensure clarity and smooth execution.

• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the credit union website, ensuring content accuracy, usability, and alignment with industry best practices. Analyze website metrics to improve member experience and support business objectives.

• Support initiatives assigned by the President/CEO or Executive Management and perform other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)

• 5 or more years' experience in Sales and/or Marketing Field (preferred)

• Strong understanding of compliance considerations in financial marketing (preferred)

• May occasionally require travel between branches or attendance at community events, meetings, or training sessions.
