Job Description

The

Production Technician

is responsible for supporting production operations through efficient packaging, quality inspections, sanitation practices, and adherence to safety and food manufacturing standards. This role helps ensure production lines operate smoothly while maintaining product quality and workplace cleanliness.

Essential Physical Requirements
Stand for the entire shift
Regularly lift up to 25 pounds
Frequently walk, bend, kneel, twist, turn, and use hands and fingers
Climb ladders as needed for cleaning and maintenance tasks
Duties and Responsibilities

Stock production lines with materials such as cartons, shippers, labels, and glue
Monitor production flow to help ensure smooth operation of the line
Remove fallen cartons or obstructions from conveyors to prevent downtime
Shut down equipment when necessary to safely clear jams or lodged materials
Inspect finished cartons and products according to established quality standards
Notify machine operators or supervisors of any quality concerns or production issues
Rework products that fail inspections, check-weighers, or quality checks
Maintain a clean and organized work area using approved sanitation procedures
Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including company dress code requirements
Work collaboratively with team members by rotating positions and assisting where needed
Report food safety or quality concerns to management or Quality Assurance immediately
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications and Requirements

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
Strong and reliable work history
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
