Job Summary
Wayfair is seeking a highly talented and visionary Lead Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Brand Creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating Wayfairs brand identity through compelling visual storytelling, designing innovative marketing campaigns, and ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all channels. You will lead creative projects from concept to execution, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and mentor a team of designers, driving the creative direction of the brand while delivering exceptional, high-quality design work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation and execution of visually compelling marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all design materials.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to translate business goals into creative solutions.
Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional growth.
Conceptualize and design innovative graphics for advertising, web, email, and social media campaigns.
Present creative concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the design vision.
Stay ahead of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to keep Wayfair at the forefront of brand innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven expertise in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing, and digital design.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
Excellent conceptual and visual storytelling skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills to inspire and guide design teams.
Strong communication skills for articulating design concepts to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
Experience
Minimum of 5–7 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a marketing or brand-focused role.
Prior experience leading design teams and managing creative projects end-to-end.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer-focused brands is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time position.
Standard business hours with flexibility to accommodate project deadlines and collaborative meetings across teams.
