Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Aviation maintenance or a related curriculum, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.

5 years combined experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.

Must have the ability to pass a U.S. Government background check to receive a secret clearance.

Position located at Joint Base Andrews.

Position Purpose
The Field Service Representative (FSR) is the customer's regional contact for obtaining technical guidance from Gulfstream's Customer Support network. Working with minimal supervision, the FSR facilitates comprehensive, professional, and timely solutions to customers’ technical issues and needs.

Job Description

Provide technical expertise for customer Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and non-AOG support in person or via phone/email. Assess local operator’s technical abilities during AOGs and coordinate support between TechOps, FAST, vendor representatives, and customers.

Collaborate with Customer Operational Readiness (COR) to ensure smooth transition of EIS deliveries by supporting COR briefings and addressing all issues and discrepancies associated with new aircraft operations.

Act as technical liaison between Gulfstream and customers, maintaining clear communication of aircraft support status during events and escalating sensitive technical issues to GAC Management to facilitate mutually beneficial resolutions.

Serve as regional contact for obtaining technical support from Gulfstream’s Customer Support, providing problem‑resolution support for all Gulfstream product lines by organizing logistics, resources, and vendors to repair aircraft anywhere in the world on any day and at any time.

Guide customers on complex technical tasks and the proper installation, service, repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance of equipment and/or systems associated with all company products.

Gather and communicate technical data, including Service Fleet Status squawks for troubleshooting actions, operational difficulties, recommended procedure changes, and abnormal situation reports (ASR) for impacted scheduled passenger trips.

Coordinate non‑technical requests and escalations to Account Managers or responsible business units.

Develop skills and experience associated with the responsibilities of a Sr Field Service Representative.

Provide the Operations Manager with timely and accurate reports on significant issues, events, and changes to assigned area customers, and recommend updates to Field Service Departmental Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).

Other Requirements

A&P license and 4 years of related aircraft experience in addition to 5 years combined experience in areas such as GAC FSR, GAC EIS Rep, TechOps Specialist, or Technician maintaining/repairing Gulfstream aircraft including scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, AOG, logistics, and routine servicing.

Formal maintenance training on all in‑production Gulfstream model aircraft highly desirable.

Proficient use and application of technical data (manuals, drawings, schematics, etc.).

Experience with integrated digital avionics and electrical systems maintenance and diagnostics highly desirable.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
