Job Description
The

Social Media Strategist

is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of the paid social campaign activations, specifically dedicated to planning and activating paid social advertising strategies for our automotive clients across the US. This person collaborates with planning, operations, and analytics to bring their clients innovative, integrated social media campaign activations.

Responsibilities

Act as primary day-to-day client contact, working as the Most Trusted Advisor to support all client business needs and meet objectives and benchmarks month over month

Work with planning and operations teams to ensure all campaigns are seamlessly executed

Develop strategic paid social media recommendations in support of client requests that outline platform recommendations, implementation details (placements, formats), success measurement, and timelines

Place social media advertising campaigns across Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat based on the approved campaign strategy

Utilize advanced targeting strategies to execute complex campaigns, including custom audiences, third‑party data, exclusion lists, lookalike audiences, and more

Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent as effectively as possible each month

Develop in‑depth campaign reports in partnership with the analytics team that outline insights on media delivery, engagement, creative, website traffic, attribution, and key learnings

Monitor clients’ social media channels, initiate conversations with and respond to engagements and reviews based on established brand and client guidelines

Monitor clients’ automotive reputation profiles and respond to all client feedback

Engage clients for review resolution and provide recommendations on appropriate response

Meet with client contacts to review reputation performance, consult on new social media capabilities, and provide recommendations on social media strategies to support business objectives

Provide demonstrations of our proprietary social media online management platform and online reputation service packages

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with paid social advertising

Proficiency with Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat that includes a clear understanding of each platform’s core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network’s advertising capabilities

Proficiency with both Business Manager and Ad Manager dashboards for all core platforms, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting

Experience handling large media budgets and developing insights based on campaign results

Have strong project management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects and campaigns at once

Experience campaign tracking and efficiency tools utilizing tools like Sprinklr, Adobe Analytics, Asana, Google Workspace, Monday.com, etc.

Facebook Blueprint Media Buying Certification strongly preferred

Have a passion for social media, be an avid user, and have a passion to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities, and platforms

Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for effective client relations

Experience with retail and/or automotive strongly preferred
