Role Description
As a Senior Technical Designer for Women's RTW at Ramy Brook, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards for garment construction and fit. This full-time, on-site position in New York, NY involves developing technical designs, overseeing fittings, collaborating with team members, refining garment construction details, and communicating with overseas vendors. You will work closely with designers, pd, and production teams to ensure the realization of creative visions aligned with Ramy Brook's brand identity. The role encompasses Development through Production.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Technical Design and Garment Construction

Proficient in Excel

8+ years Experience in Fitting and Pattern Making processes

Knowledge in garment Architecture and structural design

Strong attention to detail and understanding of fit and proportion

Excellent organizational and collaboration skills

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field

Previous experience in women's ready-to-wear (RTW) or luxury fashion is preferred
