Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager, Homes.com
Homes.com is a leading real‑estate portal looking for an experienced SEO professional to manage and grow the online presence of the site, supporting growth across on‑page, off‑page and technical aspects.
Responsibilities
Serve as an in‑house, enterprise‑level, product‑led SEO expert and develop growth strategies.
Evangelize the importance of SEO and adhere to best practices across the organization.
Provide recommendations for site architecture, URL structures, on‑page factors, image, video, and news optimization and oversee implementation.
Continuously audit site performance and track key performance indicators.
Collaborate with product management, developers, marketing, and content teams on traffic‑generating initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
7+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization roles.
Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices and search engine algorithm updates, including vertical search services.
Solid understanding of Google’s content and quality guidelines, E‑E‑A‑T and structured content best practices.
Experience with AEO and AI‑generated answer structuring.
Proven ability to develop strategies and manage projects from inception to completion.
Data‑driven mindset with expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console and tools such as SEMrush, Conductor, BrightEdge and Ahrefs.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Track record of ownership, quick implementation and delivering results in a fast‑paced online environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing SEO for large‑scale, consumer‑facing marketplace websites with 10–25 million indexed pages.
Experience in product, project or software development and analytics.
Familiarity with log analysis tools such as Botify or DeepCrawl.
Experience with AI tools and integrating AI processes into an SEO program.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $99,000–$168,000, based on skills and experience.
