Job Summary/Description

KVVU‑TV, FOX5, Las Vegas, is looking for someone with an eye for news and the creativity to tell stories through the lens of their camera. You must be self‑motivated, have good communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties/Responsibilities

Gathering video and sound for stories
Shoot daily live shots
Editing stories for television and web
Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, entering, gathering, story construction, and presentation
Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior videography experience in a TV news room
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in journalism, TV production, or related field – equivalent experience considered
Non‑linear editing experience
Computer experience
Proven ability to post content on social media platforms
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Flexible schedule with on‑call assignments
MVR check during pre‑employment
