Responsibilities
Provides promotion and event marketing services supporting strategic business initiatives.
Develops, implements and evaluates comprehensive campaigns in support of MWR programs, services, facilities and activities with Events and Promotions.
Develops online and offline promotions designed to meet client objectives while maintaining brand integrity.
Manages all aspects of the event/promotion including planning, budgets, onsite execution, and after‑action reports; determines which products and services should be offered and recommends promotional strategies.
Monitors social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately applies that knowledge to improve the promotion or event; measures the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Demonstrated related work experience, including significant events and promotion experience in both online/interactive and offline contexts, equipping the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Experience developing and implementing aggressive, customer‑focused events and promotions.
Work experience equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level.
Technical skills to effectively implement social media.
Ability to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel.
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a closely related field.
Highly Preferred or Best Qualified:
+6 months work experience and promotion marketing.
+6 months experience developing and implementing customer‑focused events.
Managed all phases of an event or promotion, including planning, budgeting, onsite execution, and drafting after‑action reports.
Possess the technical skills to effectively implement social media, along with +6 months experience in monitoring trends and measuring the impact of social media on overall marketing campaigns.

Benefits
Job is part of a pay‑banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non‑foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Access to certain federal facilities may require a REAL ID‑compliant driver's license/ID or an Enhanced Driver's License (EDL) from WA, MI, MN, NY, or VT.
