Senior Graphic Designer

Immediate need for a talented Senior Graphic Designer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Alameda, CA (Onsite).

Key Responsibilities

Design high-quality social media content including static graphics, carousels, stories, reels, thumbnails, and paid social ads.
Translate brand guidelines into visually engaging assets tailored to each platform (Instagram, Client, Client, YouTube, etc.).
Contribute creative ideas to campaigns, content calendars, and organic or paid initiatives.
Produce short-form videos and motion graphics using platform-native tools or editing software.
Maintain consistency across all visual touchpoints while bringing fresh, creative concepts to social content.
Stay current on design trends, platform updates, and real-time cultural moments that can inspire new content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure visuals align with messaging and campaign goals.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Must Have Skills: Social Media Design Expertise, Motion Graphics & Short-Form Video Editing, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Visual Storytelling, Social media trends, Brand consistency
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in social media design, digital design, or content creation roles.
Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first design, motion graphics, and short-form video work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and/or editing tools
Solid understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and mobile-first content design.
Working knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and content performance drivers.
Ability to take creative direction while also initiating ideas independently.
Experience creating motion graphics or animated content.
Familiarity with paid social creative requirements and performance optimization.
Experience collaborating with copywriters, strategists, or community managers.
Interest in digital trends, pop culture, and evolving platform behaviors.
