Summary

The Director, Strategic Initiatives & Marketing Operations will report to the Worldwide President and will be based in Raritan, NJ. The individual will work alongside the Biosurgery Global Operating Committee (OC), Platform Leadership Team (PLT) and Global Strategic Marketing team to provide strategic and operational support in leading critical initiatives across our worldwide business. This role is responsible for the development, alignment, and cascade of key strategic priorities and the Platform G&Os across the operating model. These include R&D, regions/countries, supply chain, and other supporting/enabling functions. This position provides high access to senior leaders and an opportunity to impact the formation of strategy, tactics, and execution on our most critical business priorities. A strong candidate will thrive in a dynamic, complex, and high‑energy setting and excel in coordination and collaboration across the business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the President and the OC members in setting agendas and planning cadence of key operational and governance forums.
  • Build governance and operational capabilities to enable the flow-through of global strategy to execution.
  • Drive adoption of high-performing team principles within the OC and PLT.
  • Operationalize and drive accountability for a performance management framework, including metrics and scorecards.
  • Lead design and creation of business update review content (e.g., WW Chair updates, business unit/region reviews).
  • Implement decision‑making and resource prioritization approaches leveraging data and analytics.
  • Lead and manage select strategic initiatives, including timelines, budget, project management, and interdependencies.
  • Partner with Communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging across Town Halls and senior executive forums.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience required.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market required; experience in surgery‑based medical device businesses strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management capability. Project/Program Management Certification preferred.
  • Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to flex between big picture and detail. Ability to prioritize and lead multiple, sometimes ambiguous scenarios.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills. Previous experience developing KPIs and dashboards preferred.
  • Up to 40% international travel may be required.

US: $150,000 - $258,750
